The Evangelical Covenant Church in New London, or ECC, is a multi-generational congregation, which meets regularly to worship
and honor God. We are devoted to knowing our God better and to loving Him more. We also desire to help each other grow by serving
one another, our community, and the world... bringing others to experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Worship on a typical Sunday morning includes warm greetings shared among the congregation, heart felt singing, readings from the
Bible, prayer led by our worship leaders, and a Bible-centered relevant message by our Pastor. Dress is casual. The early worship
service - The Chapel Service - is about 45 minutes long, and songs are sung from The Covenant Hymnal led by the organ. Our later
service - Worship Celebration - goes about 70 minutes, and includes singing led by a Praise Band as well as hymns (with lyrics
projected on a screen), and often features additional worship elements such as our Sanctuary Choir or other special music, a
Children's Message, and even an occasional short drama. For our youngest worshippers, Children's Church is offered and Nursery
Childcare (Up to Age 4) is available. Youth Groups and Children's Clubs (AWANA) meet on Wednesday evenings.

The first building was erected in downtown New London the

In 1955, The Lake Florida Mission Church, the very first
Covenant congregation in Minnesota, closed its doors and
most of the members joined their sister congregation in
New London, then called the Mission Covenant Church.
Our growing congregation took on the name Evangelical
Covenant Church in the 60's and in 1977 moved into a new
building in on the north end of town, with additions built in
both 1994 and 2005. The present campus also includes
the former Medical Clinic Building, purchased in 2009 to
house community outreach initiatives such as the area
Food Shelf and Youth for Christ ministries.
